MYSTICAL ALLEGIANCE

Here's your free download of "Mystical Allegiance." This recording took less than an hour to throw together on keyboards while I was living in the San Diego area in early 2007. To me it's just a musical idea that I've filed away to work on at a later date, but it suddenly started getting a lot of downloads in 2009. It might be useful for a movie theme or background music. It's like a demo full of bugs but if you like it...that's ok with me.

The weird "melody" that sounds like seagulls is actually just my voice running through a ton of random effects. I had no idea it would come out this way, nor did I know where I wanted to go with it. It certainly needs more work, but it is pretty unique and unlike anything I've ever heard before. It sounds like it comes from another planet, to be honest.

I've written several instrumentals, many of which sound more like surf music, as one of my favorite all time groups is the Ventures. But this one came out more like a twilight theme. This track does include a little guitar but it's mostly layers of keyboards. At first I called it "Eerie Allegiance" but that didn't really fit the mood of how I felt about it so I changed it to the more appropriate "Mystical Allegiance." © 2007 Orange Underworld Music, BMI
