COUNSELOR JENNINGS - His clientele of anger management patients consists of movie stars, sports figures, politicians and average citizens. He does not believe traditional psychiatry is the key to anything but more grief. Instead, he employs a modern paradigm of conflict resolution through group discussion and one on one communication. He believes the old system simply resulted in people demonizing themselves, sinking deeper into depression. The new paradigm that he endorses does not seek to relive childhood traumas, but to look to new horizons for positive personality expansion. Unfortunately, he is widely ridiculed by the mental health industry for standing out as "too unconventional."
