TANGENT SUNSET

COMMON CREEPS by Alex Cosper

WOMAN'S RIGHTS ACTIVIST - Her name is Jane McLib and she leads a chapter of the women's movement in her neighborhood. She rejects traditional beliefs that a woman's place is in the home as a housewife and cook. Instead, she is an activist whose cause is to break down cultural double standards between men and women. She even favors co-ed professional sports. She does not accept any notion that women are weaker than men in any way. She was arrested in 1979 for beating up a male cop in a protest rally against anti-Equal Rights Amendment demonstrators at a church in Alabama. Today she is a self-made successful writer and convention speaker on women's rights issues.

Jane's favorite Tangent Sunset song: "You've Got To Be True"
