How do you think the Michael Jackson trial's going? (3/10/05)

respondent quote
RECEPTIONIST: It's already getting really interesting. It almost seems like the prosecution is just making up their story - but I'll reserve judgment until the verdict is in.
UNKNOWN SKEPTIC: In this country a person is innocent until proven guilty. I'm a little disturbed, however, to this rush to judgment - as if to say this is not a free country after all - as if to be harping back on the witchcraft era of the sixteenth century.
CANDY: Oh, any rational person can see that Michael Jackson is guilty and that he should already be behind bars. Look at the guy. He's a clown. Wake up, America. Don't fall for the liberal media's push to paint Jackson as a good guy.
COOL LEE: Finally - a question in which I can give an educated answer. I am a big fan of Michael Jackson and I think anyone on the level of his popularity should be above the law and should not have to stand trial. I predict Jackson will be found not guilty and this whole trial will be considered a giant waste of time.
JENNIFER: I really can't say I'm affected by the hype. Either he's guilty or he's not - I'll let a jury decide. In the meantime I won't be staying up late at night worrying about it.
SKULL MADISON: This Michael Jackson punk who wears masks and make-up ought to at least show up to his own trial on time so that the judge doesn't have to throw his little sorry ass in jail. This guy is failing in every way possible. And it all started from some egotistical video documentary he tried to use to boost his falling popularity. Preachin' love. Long-haired hippy freak. You should have never went up against the Order, fool, now there is hell to pay.
GREY DAVIDSON: I can say that I know what Michael is going through, because at one time I experienced popularity then it popped like a balloon and I became twice as famous - except that I was exposed as a dork. Now, so far I consider Michael to be heading for the same fate as I. The stuff about how Michael put his hand in someone's underwear - makes me cringe. I can't even sit through a Michael Jackson story anymore.
DJ YOYO JO-Z: I think Michael Jackson still jams. I think all of his Thriller songs still pump the people up. I don't follow this trial garbage because I know that all that matters to the people is the man's music - not his private life. That's why I think Michael will be found not guilty no matter how good a sideshow the other side tries to throw down.
SINGER BOY GIRL: So far it's the accuser's word against Michael's. I actually think all Michael has to do is let the accuser talk - and it should be a slam dunk acquittal for Michael. But then again if Michael takes the stand...then all bets are off.
BOUNCER MIKE: Michael Jackson is obviously a gay transexual freak who looks like he just stepped off the set of a low-budget horror film. The guy has been twisted for a long time. We knew back in 1993, for example, that the guy had a thing for kids except the moral of the story was: no matter how deep in trouble you get - money will set you free. I like that system, actually. That's why I think in the end Jackson will walk.
