GW BULLSH: Let's not rush to judgement here. Let's hold off on the offensive strikes.
Everyone is innocent until proven guilty...especially the world's biggest liars. |
 |
RECEPTIONIST: I have no idea who Lewis Libby is. If that's one more guy from the regular news
I'm supposed to think about, forget it. It's hard enough keeping up with all the names of the channels on cable. |
 |
LEFT GUARD LARRY: I knew someone from the Bush team was gonna get popped sooner or later.
I thought it was gonna be Bush or Cheney, but obviously they already got other people lined up to take the fall. |
 |
COUNSELOR JENNINGS: This is very serious for Mr. Libby. If it is proven that he lied to a grand jury
about leaking to the press that Valerie Plame was a CIA agent, he will have to do many years in prison. He was wise to resign,
but from here on out he needs to avoid making any public statements, being that he can't keep his story straight. |
 |
JOE DOAKES: I'm not up on the case other than it seems like Washington DC is now trying to imitate
Hollywood instead of the other way around. This is like one of those spy films where you're not supposed to get the plot or understand
the dialogue, you just know that the world depends on this spy. It's getting to the point where reality is based on TV. I fear it's
all part of the dumbing of America project. |
 |
BOUNCER MIKE: I support the President and his administration no matter what. Bush is right. Let's not
jump to any conclusions or convict anyone until there's a trial. Libby probably leaked Plame's name to the press to get back at her
husband for talking trash about how Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction. What's the big deal? |
 |
DAVE THE ATTORNEY: It's gonna take a helluva defense team to keep Libby out of prison. The only way he
can actually get out of this one is to either plea bargain or build a better stack of lies. Either way, he should give my office a
call first thing Monday morning. |
