UNKNOWN SKEPTIC: No, I actually think it will be rigged just like it
was in 2000. It won't be about who gets the most votes, it will be about who compromises the system
the best by having the most friends on the Supreme Court. |
 |
COOL LEE: Sure I think all the votes will be counted. One likes to
feel that in a free society like ours every vote counts. I think 2000 was just a Florida problem
and that with the new voting machines we can feel much more relaxed about it. |
 |
MR. BIG BIZ: Ah, people still talk about 2000 like there was some
conspiracy or defect in the system. What 2000 proved is that the system works. We had an election,
Bush won and now he's president and he's turned out to be a great leader. Mark my words, the same thing will happen again in that order. |
 |
JENNIFER: The whole thing is probably rigged even by Kerry. Bush and Kerry
are probably good friends from Skull & Bones and they made some kind of deal that each will help the other somehow.
My guess is Kerry will let Bush win just to disguise the overall corruption of a rigged election. |
 |
SKULL MADISON: You know if you actually read the Constitution carefully, there
is nothing, repeat nothing, that says that any state has to have a presidential election. It does however,
specifically lay out how state legislatures may choose their state electors any way they please. It just so
happens that each state decides to have an election. The reason Bush won is because he deserved to be president.
So let's forget about vote counts and just make sure Bush stays in office. |
 |
GREY DAVIDSON: I think some elections are in fact rigged, but it's better for
the politician to not contest results. It shakes up the system and the people too much. It's better just to
go along with what happens and then lay low, especially when Republicans are in charge. |
 |
COLLEGE STUDENT: I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up in a tie again and it
got dragged out for a month. I'm not sure what to think about the new voting machines, which were made by
Diebold, a company that has already come out and endorsed Bush. I don't know what to think. It all seems kind
of phony anyway how they never talk about the real issues and just kind of babble about the same things for years.
I actually think there's a shadow government that uses people like Bush as just a face on TV. |
 |
JOE DOAKES: I think even if they get the vote count straight, my vote still doesn't
count anyway because it's just one vote. If I were on the Supreme Court my one vote might matter, but because I'm
in a big state, my one vote gets diluted and canceled out by some stupid uninformed swing voter. No matter who is
president, they all read the same script anyway. They all try to sound like statesmen from a hundred years ago
so that they don't have to be accountable for what's going on today. |
 |
GUSTY: They should actually make it illegal for swing voters like myself to vote.
I admit that my indecisive vote causes more damage to the system than a glitch in the vote counting machines.
The system is so messed up because of people like me and others who don't give a damn we should just cancel all elections
and let the media decide who should run this country. They already decide what we're supposed to think anyway. |
 |
SINGER BOY GIRL: The whole thing is a scam. That's why I'm voting for Nader.
What do I care who gets my vote if the bad guys always win? For all I know the election is so rigged that really
Nader won in 2000 and really Bush and Gore were on the same side to keep Nader out of office, so they made
a deal with the media to botch the results. |
