GW BULLSH: The President showed his dignity by affirming that the United States is still willing to be friends with Canada, based on our long relationship as friendly neighbors. But in the war on terror they are either with us or against us, so they might want to kiss our ass a little better. |
UNKNOWN SKEPTIC: I think Bush should take this visit as a wake up call. When our own neighbors agree with the rest of the world that he keeps moving in the wrong direction, it's time to re-think this whole
war economy he's banking on. Canada does not want to participate in Bush's missile defense program because it's simply a bad idea that's just going to increase paranoia and create more tension. And notice they only applauded him a few times when he talked about peace, but the crowd was silent every time he tried to pump the war. Funny how Bush just expects everyone to be as psychotic as he is. |
MR. BIG BIZ: Canada needs to do a better job helping out on the war. So far their contribution has been minimal. Even so, President Bush thanked them for what little they've done as we continue to defend Canada without Canada's help or thanks. When all is said and done Canada's going to owe us a big favor, so they might as well start by helping us fund the President's missile defense program. As long as we keep defense contractors busy and oil prices up - then that means my investments are in good shape and I'm very happy. |
JENNIFER: The only reason Bush went to Canada is to divert attention from all the news coming out of Ohio that the election was a fraud and that somehow the voting machines, which were manufactured by the Republicans, were illegally programmed to give Bush the victory no matter what. He might get away with stealing the election again, but he won't escape the judgment of historians that he was just a dictator who fixed elections and tried to rule the world. Our only hope now...is to move to Canada and hope that Bush forgets about Canada. |
SKULL MADISON: Ya know, it just doesn't get any better than George W. Bush. He goes to Canada where he is met with unthankful liberal America-haters, and he delivers the speech of the century that's gonna finally make them come to the table. Bush did this by hinting that there will be serious consequences for not getting on board with the American missile defense campaign. Even though he was effective, I would actually like to see the President put a little more pressure on the Canadians. In other words, let's spell it out. Let's make them realize that we're calling the shots because we've got the weapons and the manpower and all they've got is the hope that we'll defend them. |
COLLEGE STUDENT: Canada is definitely a smarter country than the United States. That's why they didn't fall for any of Bush's pipedream speeches designed to brainwash the masses. You see, in Canada, people value education and knowledge whereas in the United States, the masses are swayed more by entertainment. Luckily, Bush's trip
to Canada has been very entertaining, since he is being treated as the international flop that he is. |
BRUTUS JONES: I think people need to quit making fun of Bush and start preparing for World War III. Bush means what he says and if we have to fight the Canadians because they don't support Bush, I'm ready. Listen to his words, how right he is that we need results, not endless debate. I think anyone caught criticizing this administration should be charged with war crimes. |
SINGER BOY GIRL: Look at it this way: Canada supports gay marriage, pot legalization, national health care, education and they don't support mindless out of control spending for unnecessary military build-up or pre-emptive strikes against defenseless oil-rich countries based on lies. In other words, Canada represents the future while the United States represents the past. If the West Coast wants to secede to Canada, I'll gladly defend Canada - at least with my song lyrics. |
GOOFBALL GREG: Since I'm a fighter, not a lover, I think we need to just take Canada. Make it a giant concentration camp for war criminals. Bush needs to be respected wherever he goes because he's the leader of the war on terror. If we have to go to war with every country on earth until we're the last country standing, let's go for it. People around the world need to understand that we are dictating from here on out. You'd think more countries would be on our side since we're doing it to save our freedom. |
GURU DION: Bush has finally crystalized his image with the international community as just a silly puppet of defense contractors and other war industry profiteers. Then again, I can't think of anyone else in history who has messed up in every way possible and still gets re-elected. I guess the moral of the story is that when it comes to politics, cheaters always win. |
