RECEPTIONIST: No I haven't heard that. What are you talking about? |
UNKNOWN SKEPTIC: Yeah I've been watching it. I know why they are doing it - to track stolen merchandise. It's a step beyond bar codes. It's a microscopic radio antenna they put on each product. That's fine, but it's
the idea that this technology might get into the wrong hands. All freedom as we know it will be lost...forever. |
CANDY: Whatever Walmart does is fine with me. They've got the best prices and the most stuff. Who cares if they exploit workers? People shouldn't work there if they don't like it. I like it, so I shop there. |
COOL LEE: It is of no concern to me whatsoever because I do not shop at Walmart or Home Depot. |
DJ YOYO JO-Z: I've seen the CDs they sell at Walmart. Man, if they had more underground hip hop I would probably shop there, but since they ain't got nothin' I want, I don't even care what they do. |
MR. BIG BIZ: Great move for both Walmart and Home Depot. The rest of the retail marketplace should follow suit. It's a great way to make sure no one's ripping you off. I strongly feel that all customers should be treated as suspects until they've made a purchase. |
JENNIFER: Well, it's just more weird Orwellian technology taking over. I look around me and I see no one has a problem with this. Everyone would rather talk basketball, so don't expect people to be fully
awake on this issue. |
SKULL MADISON: Imagine this: mandatory physical examinations. They give you a pill with one of those radio antennas embedded. You swallow the pill, unknowing that you are now the property of...
the New World Order. Ha ha, I see it coming. That'll be icing on the cake. |
MADAM OF THE PLANETS: Little radio antennas. Hmmm, I wonder if that means aliens will be able to track down the items as well. If that's the case, then it is all the more reason for us all to try to learn alien communication as a second language. Otherwise, we may simply have to yield to their control. |

SCIENTIST: The idea of radio tags has actually been around for a long time and has been used by the military. I believe what we are seeing is the introduction of radio tags on a widespread commercial level. I'm actually taking it one step further. I'm trying to patent an idea for two-way satellite television tags that not only
track down any item on Earth, but it also gives you a read out of that subject's entire history based on embedded retroactive DNA video chips. In other words, you'll be able to view what you did in your bedroom ten years ago on a video screen, but it's too complex for me to go into all the details right now. |
