After working on the air at Energy 92.7 in San Francisco I moved to the Palm Springs, CA area in the summer of 2006 to be Program Director and Midday Air Personality at 97.7 KRCK. I only wanted to do it for a short period from the beginning because I had already made plans to return to Sacramento in the summer of 2007. The radio station is located in Palm Desert. Before I got there it was a "rock of the eighties" station that mixed modern rock with arena rock, but the station never made a ratings impact. So right before I arrived the format was switched to contemporary hits and the station suddenly made news in the market. It was fun working with morning man Dave Skyler, who I had worked with at KWOD and WLUM. In December of 2006 I resigned from the station and moved to the San Diego area to enjoy some nice ocean scenery for five months. I returned to Sacamento in June 2007 in which I launched Playlist Research and began working as a web designer for other sites.
